On Monday 20 June 2016, as part of London Technology Week, I was one of seven speakers who presented at an event hosted by the London Borough of Camden to discuss the power of data and the role data needs to play in reforming public services.
The other speakers included: Sherry Coutu, Chair of founders4schools; Sarah Dougan, deputy director of public health for Camden and Islington; Mike Flowers, Chief Analytics Officer at Enigma; Janet Hughes, Government Digital Service; Andrew Collinge, Assistant Director, Greater London Authority (GLA); and Cllr Theo Blackwell.
Full details of the event can be found here.
In the video above (also available on YouTube), I share some early ideas concerning the potential of Offices of Data Analytics to help reform UK public services at a city scale.
